Welding production
Welding is a key competence of Izhora. Welding shops have a unique fleet of equipment which includes state-of-the-art high-performance welding posts and stations.
The production capacities allow processing of large-sized blanks weighing up to 400 tons. Welding and overlay welding are carried out mainly on the welding posts. The shops of Izhora can weld circumferential and longitudinal joints with a diameter of up to 6.5 m.

Manipulator for welding and overlay welding
| Description |
A welding manipulator is used for overlay welding of bottoms of the reactor pressure vessels, ECCS and PCFS accumulators, pressurizers and petrochemical vessels. The manipulator operates together with a welding post.

Welding gantries
| Description |
For making field welds, we use quick-mounting mobile gantries. Each gantry consists of a platform with a longitudinal travel system, a module with a ladder, and a maintenance and access mobile platform and allows welding of circumferential joints of housing shells
