The Qualification Assessment Center (QAC) was established for independent assessment of vocational competencies of AEM-Technologies personnel as well as graduates and employees from all over Russia.

About

The Qualification Assessment Center of Petrozavodskmash is the industry first center of such type in mechanical engineering.
AEM-Technologies established the first Qualification Assessment Center (QAC) in mechanical engineering in the Northwestern Federal District. The QAC performs an independent qualification assessment for compliance with the mechanical engineering skills standard. A decision regarding empowering Petrozavodskmash to perform an independent qualification assessment in the stated QAC business area was made by the Council for Vocational Qualifications (CVQ) in mechanical engineering. Business area of Petrozavodskmash QAC includes the following vocational qualifications in machine engineering: turner, miller, borer, planer, grinder, vertical lathe and general machine operators, mechanical assembly quality controller, heat treater, and heat treatment supervisor. To perform assessment, the main highly skilled workers and engineers, namely 16 technical experts and 3 qualification assessment experts were selected from Petrozavodskmash employees and certified to administer the exams. The assessment can be provided not only for Petrozavodskmash employees, but also for graduates from various educational institutions and applicants of different Russian companies.
