Mechanical assembly production

At the construction stage of Petrozavodskmash plant, machine assembly shops were designed in such a way that it was as convenient as possible to work with large-sized parts. In terms of design and sizes of spans, lifting and production equipment, the workshops are designed for the manufacture of high-precision large-sized parts and assemblies of general and heavy engineering.

The widest and fastest paper making machines were the target products of the production. Machines were installed at the workshops that made it possible to machine body parts with dimensions of 4500x3000x12000 mm, weighing up to 80 tons, and bodies of rotation with dimensions up to 3600 mm in diameter and up to 16500 mm in length.
