Pipeline valves

AEM technology CJSC designed standard lines of wedge gates, manually or electrically driven. Also designed are standard lines of high-pressure check valves, repairable in situ for nuclear power plants.
Wedge gates and check valves are designed for operation in devices and systems of nuclear power plants in accordance with classification to NP -068- 05 2VIIa , 2VIIIa , 3SIIIa ( safety classes 2 and 3 NP -001- 97 ( PNAEG -01- 011 -97 ), groups B and C PNAEG -7-008-89), including systems of the 4th security class to NP -001- 97 (PN AE G -01-011-97).
Products are designed by the own design bureau of AEM-technology.

Features

  • For use at nuclear power plants with RBMK reactors, VVER reactors in loops I and II, with BN reactors in loop III.
  • I category of seismic resistance (seismic impact from earthquakes up to 9 points).
  • Serviceability at vibration loads in a frequency range of 5-100 Hz with an acceleration up to 1,0 g and an oscillation amplitude up to 50 microns.
  • Rigid structure ensures normal work free from any additional fastening to the building structure units at external effects corresponding to NP -068- 05.
  • Serviceability at the full pressure differential when delivering the working medium to any of the nozzles.
  • Products are easy to repair in situ.

Each valve has an electrically-driven version with drives from Tulaelectroprivod JSC, Splav-privod, AUMA, ZPA Pechki that will meet all the requirements of customers in terms of controlling.

Hand-operated valve have different versions: with and without flywheel locking device lock, with or without sensor (limit switch) for signaling the end positions of the valve plug, which also provides a wide range of choice, when ordering equipment.

Currently being designed are low-pressure wedge valves with a stamp-welded body resulting both in cutting down on steel in the course of manufacturing and in a shorter manufacturing time. The total number of valve models will be 376.
